For over fifty years families from Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church have gathered at John Knox Center on Watts Bar Lake for a week of fun and fellowship. Family Camp is an opportunity to share Christian living in a relaxed atmosphere.  Register your family today!

It is comforting to know that our Lord and God desires the family to be the hallmark institution of any society. God wants our families to rely on Him. God finds joy in families who are faithful to Him.

The teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is inaugurated in the Family. However, the family encounters a society that wants to tear this institution apart. The media is a constant and aggressive threat to family values. The political world challenges the family in the arenas of gay marriage, abortion, divorce, education and ethical discernment. Locally, recreational sporting teams vie for our Sabbath. Educational institutions create environments of competition and establish agendas that oppose the Christian lifestyle.

Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church is aware that it is difficult to raise children to know God, to have Biblically based marriages and to assertively face a culture wanting to do harm to the family. Consequently, the Family Ministry Group hopes to equip the members of SMPC with proper tools to engage the battle for the family.
