Prayer

Prayer Warriors
The Prayer Warrior Ministry prays for children of our congregation from birth to 22 years, by name, daily. Each child is assigned a specific adult who commits to pray for that child daily, and any other relationships that develop.

"Influencing children for good is like planting seeds - except when we pray for them. Prayer is critically different. It is more like tilling the field. It makes way for seeds of life we sow, expectant but humble. It keeps our children in hands turned up to Christ rather than clinched to us in fear. In short, praying for children is a life-giving act of faith." - Tim Filston

Prayer for the Schools

Teaching begins first in the home. The next level of teaching is performed in our schools. Hence, the undertaking of educating a child is an immense burden that we place on our school administrators, school teachers, school staff persons and home schooling parents.

Prayer For the Schools is an annual event when we honor the teachers and staff from area schools with dinner and a special accent on prayer.

The program is held on one of the first Family Night dinners every fall in The Great Hall.
